Online Occupational Therapy Support
Home, School & Work

With over 13 years of clinical experience, I offer personalised online Occupational Therapy support for children, teenagers, and adults who are experiencing challenges in everyday life.
These sessions provide a practical and collaborative space to explore individual experiences, build on strengths, and develop strategies that support meaningful participation at home, in school, and in the workplace.
Each session is tailored to the individual, recognising that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. The focus is on identifying what matters most to you and finding realistic, effective ways to support your needs and priorities.
Areas Oak Tree OT can support with include:
-
Practical strategies to support daily routines and structure
-
Developing and maintaining meaningful activities throughout the day
-
Building independence with everyday tasks (e.g. self-care, organisation, life skills)
-
Supporting school-aged children with attention, participation, and routines
-
Executive functioning strategies (planning, organisation, time management)
-
Supporting problem-solving in ways that work for you at home, school, or work
Who this is suitable for:
-
Parents seeking guidance and practical strategies
-
Teenagers or adults looking for support with organisation, routines, or daily demands
-
Individuals who may not require a full assessment but would benefit from professional input
Sessions are delivered online and are typically 50–60 minutes in length.
-
Initial session: Understanding your current experiences, needs, priorities, and goals
-
Follow-up sessions if required
Some people benefit from just one or two sessions for guidance, while others prefer a short block of support over a number of weeks. There is no obligation to commit to a block of sessions.
Online sessions offer a flexible and accessible way to receive specialist Occupational Therapy support.
Housing Assessments

Your home environment plays a crucial role in your safety, independence, and quality of life. If everyday tasks are becoming more difficult due to illness, injury, or disability, a housing assessment can help identify practical changes to make your home work better for you.
An Occupational Therapist Housing assessment is often required as part of an application to your local authority for financial support. In Ireland, the main grants available are:
-
Housing Adaptation Grant for Older People and People with a Disability
-
Mobility Aids Grant
These grants are means-tested and support essential home modifications to improve accessibility and safety.
This Occupational Therapy Housing assessment forms an important part of your grant application and provides clear clinical recommendations to your local authority.
What’s included:
-
Assessment in your home environment
-
Identification of barriers within your home
-
A written report to support your grant application
At Oak Tree OT, we pride ourselves on efficiency: a housing assessment report is provided within a one week turnaround.
