Rooted in strength
Branching toward light
Welcome to Oak Tree OT
The oak tree symbol of Oak Tree OT represents the courage, strength and resilience of all of our clients; often people with health needs or disabilities ned to draw on this inner strength during times of hardship.
Occupational Therapy is a person-centred healthcare profession that helps people to do what they wish to do in their daily life. An Occupational Therapist looks at what matters to you and finds ways to help make these activities easier, safer or possible through adaptations, strategies and a deeper understanding of your occupational self.
Oak Tree OT strives to meet you were you are at, and provide a personalised approach to helping you achieve what truly matters in your daily life. By working in collaboration with you, we support you in building skills, adapting to challenges, and finding practical solutions that fit into your life. Our aim is to help you move forward with confidence and create a life that feels meaningful and right for you.
We offer a bespoke service to adults and children, in the following areas:
-
Sensory Processing & Integration Assessment
-
Housing Assessments
-
Workshops & Training
-
Functional Assessments of Daily Living Skills

Hi I'm Laura,
I am a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist and Advanced Sensory Integration Practitioner. I have over thirteen years’ experience of working with people across a wide range of ages from children and teenagers to older adults.
Each person has their own unique life, environment, interests and preferences. At times, people may benefit from additional support to navigate daily life. It is at these times that an Occupational Therapist can help. I work collaboratively with people to understand their needs, identify solutions, and support them in working towards their goals.
